Real Time networks require Real time monitoring. Unlike front office applications in which a disruption for a few minutes is an annoyance, Real Time applications require continuous communications and disruptions for even seconds could shut down a process or create a security problem.
IntraVUE™ was developed to provide continuous topology monitoring, trending and alarming. Notification of a server going down or connection to an important system being lost will be immediate. Systems sometimes are only accessed periodically, but when called upon must be available or respond immediately. IntraVUE will monitor all devices constantly insuring if and when a system is required that the communication mechanisms are available. Continuous monitor will assist in proactive maintenance and insure the real time communications is running at optimum performance.

The ability to maintain accurate documentation is a must for proper disaster recovery. This can be especially challenging for Ethernet networks in which devices can be constantly added or moved with ease. Trying to then maintain a hardcopy accurate drawing can be virtually impossible. These networks however, can be affected by a variety of disasters such as fire, viruses, or malicious attacks that can completely disrupt the wiring. Even a small broadcast storm can have individuals pulling out connections to isolate the problem. Reconstruction of the connections and analysis of the traffic of the recovered network and comparison to the prior traffic has been difficult without the aid of IntraVUE.
IntraVUE maintains an accurate record of every connection and back-up files in which the network can be brought back to in order to recover from most any type of disaster.
